Test if relay is enabled

  1. Go to the command line, type telnet exchangeIP 25 and hit enter.

  2. Type "hello" and hit enter.

  3. Type "mail from:God@heaven.com" and hit enter.

  4. Type "rcpt to Admin@mycompany.com" and hit enter.

  5. Type "data" and hit enter.

  6. Type "subject: Hello" and hit enter.

  7. Tpe "hello" and hit enter.

  8. Hit enter, type "." and hit return.

Did you get "relaying denied"? If not, you are a relay agent!
