While Erasmo Medina's tip, Outlook New Message Shortcut, is certainly one way of creating an e-mail shortcut, I find this is much easier:
- Open Outlook.
- Create a new message as per normal (dont enter any info yet!).
- Save As file name and location of your own choosing (C:OutlookNewMsg.msg).
- Create a Shortcut to this file and place it in the desired location (QuickLaunch, StartMenu, Desktop, etc.)
