Judges gave ZipLip Inc.'s Unified Email Archival Suite high marks for performance, value and functionality. They specifically pointed to its capabilities for built-in email encryption and random message sampling that clearly delineate complex legal regulations in a technologically meaningful way.

Unified Email Archival Suite runs on Exchange Server, Lotus Notes and mixed messaging platforms. Version 5.2 expands on a variety of the product's earlier electronic records search capacity and offers several new compliance features, among them pre- and post-email review to prevent assigned reviewers from reviewing their own email and address tagging of items for special handling during legal discovery.

Pricing: There is a one-time perpetual software license based on the modules selected. Annual maintenance starts at 20% of the software price. List price for basic archiving or mailbox management for 1,000 mailboxes starts at $51,000.
