The product is actually a suite of products called the QiNetix Unified Data Management Suite for Exchange. It includes QiNetix Galaxy for backup and recovery, DataMigrator for data migration and archiving and DataArchiver for compliance.

Because of its modular approach to feature implementation, with the QiNetix suite organizations can start small and gradually expand to broader functionality by adding more agents and configuring new policies as needed. Our judges rewarded CommVault for this level of flexibility with high marks for functionality. QiNetix 5.9 scored well for value and support as well. Slightly lower marks were given for innovation and ease of use -- but it still ranked above average on all evaluation criteria.

Pricing: Pricing for the QiNetix for Exchange components: CommVault Galaxy prices start at $2,000 per server. DataMigrator prices start at $2,500 per server. DataArchiver starts at about $50 per monitored mailbox. Configuration support scales from a single server to thousands of servers and backs direct-attached, LAN, SAN and NAS storage architectures.
