Microsoft has released an updated version of its free software add-on to connect Outlook with servers running IBM Lotus Domino.

The software, called Microsoft Office Outlook Connector for IBM Lotus Domino, is available as a free download from Microsoft's Web site. The add-on works with Domino versions 5 and 6.

The connector, which was first released last year, is designed for companies whose users prefer the Outlook e-mail client to Lotus Notes. The latest version of the tool allows 2002 and 2003 versions of Outlook to retrieve messages, calendar items, address book entries and to-do lists stored on a server running Domino.

The add-on supports Windows 2000, Windows 2000 Service Pack 2, Windows 2000 Service Pack 3, Windows 2000 Service Pack 4, Windows XP, Windows XP Service Pack 1.
