Cathleen A. Gagne, Editorial Director

As editorial director, Cathy plans and oversees strategy and operations for TechTarget's Data Center and Virtualization Media Group. She works closely with the editorial team to keep the many sites focused on the information needs of IT professionals. Previously, she was the editorial director for the Channel Media Group and online editorial director for SearchStorage.com. In her 9+ years at TechTarget, Cathy has also launched and operated three websites: SearchWin2000.com, SearchSecurity.com and SearchMobileComputing.com. Prior to TechTarget, she worked at Computerworld, holding positions such as careers editor, senior editor and assistant department editor for the technology section. |

Matthew M. Gervais, Site Editor

Matt joined the TechTarget Windows Media Group in December, 2005. He develops site content and keeps site members up-to-date with the latest technical tips and expert advice. Prior to coming to TechTarget, he spent a year editing math books and supplementary software for McDougal Littell, a branch of Houghton Mifflin. Matt is interested in hearing any comments, feedback and suggestions about SearchExchange.com. He holds a BA in Mathematics from Westfield State College. |

Pat is an assistant editor for TechTarget's Data Center and Virtualization group. He is responsible for producing and editing newsletters, as well as site maintenance for SearchExchange.com and SearchSQLServer.com. Pat previously served as a correspondent for the Boston Globe and graduated from the University of Rhode Island in the spring of 2008 with a degree in journalism and writing. |

Lauren S. Horwitz, Managing Editor

Lauren Horwitz is the senior managing editor of the Data Center and Virtualization group at TechTarget. Horwitz joined the Data Center group following a two-year tenure at CIO Decisions magazine, where she also served as the managing editor and a contributing writer.
Previously, Horwitz served as a senior editor at Cutter Consortium, an IT research firm, and an editor at the American Prospect, a political journal. In 2009, she received a Silver award from American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE) and a min Best of the Web award.
In 2007, her work won awards from the ASPBE as well. |

Christine Casatelli, Managing Editor

Christine Casatelli is managing editor of e-publications. A high-tech journalist for more than 20 years, Casatelli started her career at ComputerWorld in 1984 and worked on the launch staff of IDG's Network World and then Federal Computer Week. After a two-year stint in Japan, where she worked for CommunicationsWeek International and Asia Telecom Daily, she joined CMP's TechWeb and became executive editor.
Casatelli has taught journalism at Northeastern University, Boston University and Emerson College. She is a graduate of the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. |

Mark Schlack, Vice President, Editorial

Mark Schlack has covered the use of technology in business for 23 years, concentrating on computer technology for the last 16 years. He began his high-tech career as Network Editor at Datamation, where he later became Editor. Following that, he was the Editor in Chief of BYTE magazine, where he was responsible for both print and Web versions of the magazine, both domestically and internationally. He also served as VP/Content for EarthWeb, and VP/Editorial for ITworld.com.
Mark has been the recipient of a number of publishing awards, including a Jesse H. Neal Award and Certificate and several ASBPE and Folio awards. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan. He resides in Cambridge, MA. |

She has spent many years as a reporter, editor and columnist at technology media companies such as IDG and CMP, and has freelanced for a variety of publications. She holds BS and MA degrees from Boston University. |

Michelle joined TechTarget in 2007. As Managing Editor of e-publications, Michelle works with freelance contributors, and edits and manages the production of tips, tutorials, e-books, e-zines and special editorial projects. Prior to joining TechTarget, Michelle was managing editor for SMT magazine, a business-to-business publication serving the electronics assembly market. She has 10 years of experience as a writer and editor for high-tech electronics trade publications. Michelle holds a B.S. in journalism from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. |
