Outlook Web Access (OWA) is often considered a static service in Exchange Server 2007. Administrators tend to only use its default configurations. While minimal changes can be made to OWA, its level of administrative controls is highly customizable.

If you have any comments or questions about the information presented in this tutorial, please email us.

In this tutorial, Microsoft Exchange MVP Brien Posey explains how to make various changes to your OWA server, including how to modify an OWA theme or customize a built-in theme; create a custom header; change OWA fonts, colors and layout; and modify a sign-on screen. He also details how to make functional and security-based customizations to manage mobile and remote device users' access to email attachments and how to apply OWA segmentation to control which Microsoft Outlook email features they can use.
