Azaleos OneStop ViewXchange dashboard lets customers view their Exchange system health, performance and activity information.
The NOC uses ViewXchange as the primary monitoring and troubleshooting dashboard for various Exchange servers and all of its dependencies, including Windows Server, Active Directory, direct-attached storage (DAS) and storage area networks (SANs), mobile device access and network topology and routing. It also tracks email access and delivery performance for both internal and Internet-based email systems.
The latest version of ViewXchange features several core visualization tools that let customers and NOC workers monitor email. Two core changes include a redesigned System View for at-a-glance overviews of Exchange health vital signs as well as a new view and reports of real-time and historical Exchange mail-flow statistics.
Additional ViewXchange features include the following:
- New reports on Microsoft Exchange health, including a capacity report, top 10 senders/receivers for analyzing traffic, top 10 domains to which messages are sent, the number of mailboxes provisioned for archiving, average archived mailbox size, heaviest archiving user details, retention quota metrics, and a tool archive store with 30- and 180-day growth.
- Ticketing that provides integrated Exchange management trouble ticketing capabilities. The tool can be set up to work with customers' help desk ticketing systems for systematic feedback to IT departments.
- Comprehensive alert and event logs that let NOC technicians track and identify issues that previously affected Exchange availability to see when they occurred and how they can be resolved.
- Enhanced viewing and monitoring for virtualized solutions to monitor the host hardware and guest virtual machines.
System requirements: Microsoft Exchange Server 3003 or Exchange 2007.
