QUESTION POSED ON: 08 March 2004
How can I extract just the 'sent items' from an old priv.edb that I have on tape after I restore it to a work area and not the Exchange (5.5) server? Are there any utilities available?

>
I'm not aware of any utilities that can extract that specific information from a priv.edb file. However, you could restore the database to an Exchange 5.5 recovery server that is not connected to your production environment. Once restored, you can use ExMerge to extract the data you want.
