QUESTION POSED ON: 06 August 2009
The tools of a hosted Exchange server while using a POP3 email service seem to meet our users' needs. However, it doesn't give us (management) the option to audit email messages that are sent and received without our users knowing. Do you have any suggestions?

A recent observation of mine has been that manageability tends to be weak with hosted Exchange providers. Most of their focus right now has been on getting hosted email working well and securely -- and on keeping up with the competition.

I would start with a look at LiveOffice because their CEO understands compliance intimately. and it is a company I would recommend for hosted Exchange in a compliance context.
