QUESTION POSED ON: 19 May 2009
I have a user in Exchange Server 2007 who is having issues creating his Microsoft Outlook 2007 profile in Windows Vista. If he creates it in XP, it works fine. However, he keeps receiving an error message stating: "Microsoft Outlook must be online." Do you have any idea as to what his problem might be?

Have you tried having the user create the profile using the advanced mode? Using the advanced mode would allow you to provide the username and mailbox server name instead of letting Outlook auto-discover it. Beyond that, if it seems to only be an issue with this particular user, perhaps there is an issue with the installation on the Vista machine.
