QUESTION POSED ON: 12 February 2009
I have a 500-user system running Exchange Server 2003 at Company A and I need to add 50 users from Company B. I then need to set up email accounts for the new users at Company B, while maintaining the same domain name as Company A.

Both companies have their own local area networks (LANs) and firewalls, and the two companies are in two different time zones. What do you suggest to make this migration work successfully?

>
Company B's domain should be migrated to Company A's domain while staying at its original location. This can be done with Quest Software migration tools or free tools from Microsoft. The email domain for Company A can remain the same, and Company B should be able to use it as well.
