As long as both email addresses are assigned to the user's mailbox, there are no changes required in regards to the BES -- this is strictly an SMTP routing issue. You will need to ensure the proper MX records are established in your organization's external domain name system (DNS) zone to provide a destination for email messages sent to the new namespace.
You'll also need to configure the Exchange server to accept messages for that new namespace. Then you can configure the additional addresses on the mailboxes in question and you will be completely synced up.
