QUESTION POSED ON: 30 December 2008
I have a 64-bit machine running Windows Vista. When I try to send an email from Outlook Web Access (OWA), the system freezes and then restarts Internet Explorer (IE). What could be the problem?

First, make sure that you are using the latest version of Internet Explorer and that it is fully patched. Second, once you open OWA, go into the Options screen and download and install the S/MIME control from the Email Security section. If it already appears to be installed, reinstall it. If that does not solve the problem, check your antivirus application to make sure that it's not causing the problem.
