QUESTION POSED ON: 08 January 2008
I have three Exchange servers. One server is configured as a front-end server and two are configured as back-end servers. The front-end server is responsible for Outlook Web Access (OWA), IMAP, POP and RPC over HTTP (RoH). Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is also installed on the front-end server. I'm planning to introduce another front-end server into the mix. Should the SSL be configured to use the same fully qualified domain name (FQDN) as the first front-end server? How should I set up the domain name system (DNS) entry for the new front-end server?
