QUESTION POSED ON: 17 October 2007
I have an Exchange Server 2003 running on a domain controller with additional software installed on a Windows 2000 operating system.

I am now building a new Exchange 2003 server and running it as a member server, on a Windows 2003 operating system, which will be added to the network.

How should I start this process?

I would consider running Windows 2003 throughout your organization. Windows 2003 provides significant replication enhancements over Windows 2000. You can then just add another Exchange server to the existing organization. Find more information on this topic in the Microsoft article "Setup options for Exchange Server 2003."
