QUESTION POSED ON: 29 August 2007
I want to share a BlackBerry user's Microsoft Outlook calendar with the public folder calendar, so that they will be one and the same. I want to synchronize the calendars since the BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) will only transfer the user's personal calendar data -- not the public calendar data -- to his handheld device. Can this be done?

I assume this request is for Over The Air (OTA) support. BlackBerry Enterprise Server for Microsoft Exchange doesn't currently have native support for synchronizing to an enterprise user's device calendar from multiple sources (i.e., a combination of personal calendar, public folder calendar, SharePoint calendar, shared calendar, etc.). As you mention, with what's offered out of the box, only OTA synchronization from the personal calendar is what's currently featured.

I'd recommend taking a close look at some third-party offerings such Add2Exchange.
