QUESTION POSED ON: 07 August 2007
I am trying to create a new public folder calendar in Exchange Server 2003. How can I do this? When I go to Exchange System Manager -> Administrative Groups -> Folders, and right-click on Public Folders -> New, the only option I get is "Public Folder..." Do you have any solutions?

When you do the same thing from within Microsoft Outlook (from an account with permissions), you'll get the option to create a new public folder "containing appointment items." That's what you'll want to do. Once it's set up, you'll want to assign appropriate permissions to whoever needs to access this public folder calendar.
