Your Exchange server can definitely handle email for multiple domains. Here are the basic steps that you need to take:
- Configure your default Recipient Policy for the secondary domain(s). For example, if the primary domain is Domain1.com and a secondary domain is Domain2.org, then modify the policy by adding a second SMTP address in the format @domain2.org. Click the OK button.
- When you see the screen that lists your SMTP domains, make sure that the checkbox next to the new domain is checked. Click the OK button.
- Accept the policy's prompt to apply the change to all user accounts/addresses if you want to do so, or manually add a new address for domain2.org to any user account that should receive email for this domain.
