QUESTION POSED ON: 24 April 2007
I am new to Exchange 2000 Server and this is my first time setting it up. I created SMTP mailboxes for all the users in Active Directory, but no one is receiving email. We were using a POP3 server to receive email prior to the Microsoft Exchange Server installation. How do I set up the Exchange server to receive email from the POP3 server -- or any email for that matter?

From the short description you've provided, I'd start by looking at the MX record in the public DNS for your company. Make sure it's pointing to whatever public-facing IP is associated with your Exchange Server, and not to your old POP server.
