I'm assuming from your question that you're trying to move an Exchange Server public folder replica from one Exchange server to another. If that's the case, then go into the properties of the Exchange Server public folder from within Exchange System Manager (ESM) -- assuming you're running Exchange 2000 or Exchange 2003 -- and add a replica for the new Exchange server. Then wait for replication to complete. Once you've confirmed this, you can delete the original Exchange Server public folder replica.
MEMBER FEEDBACK TO THIS ASK THE EXPERT Q&A:
Our scenario has one back-end server (BE1) with a public folder database containing all the folders' contents, and a number of back-end servers with a public folder database that only replicates the public folder hierarchy.
We now want to move these public folder contents to another server (BE2), and we assume we can use public folder replication to copy and synchronize them. However, once they are in sync, how can we get the old server (BE1) to hold just a replica of the public folder hierarchy?

Your question is difficult to answer with so little information. What version of Exchange are you referring to?
