QUESTION POSED ON: 21 February 2006
I just had someone tell me SharePoint (2003 version) can be used as an e-mail archiving solution. I've done some looking on the Web and Microsoft's site, and find no reference to anyone trying this. It seems to me you'd have to do some tweaking to get this to work, if it would work at all. Do you have an opinion on this?

I haven't every heard of SharePoint being used as an archive for Exchange data. If you happen to find more details from your source I'd be happy to drill into this some and provide further input and opinion.
