QUESTION POSED ON: 29 November 2005
I can't access Outlook Web Access. I've set up and configured my domain controller running Windows Server 2003 and Exchange Server 2003, but Outlook Web Access isn't working. I thought by default it's supposed to work.

IIS must be configured to authenticate users before they are able to access the Outlook Web Access Web site:

  1. Open IIS Manager.
  2. Expand the server name, then expand Web sites.
  3. Right click the Web site and then click Properties.
  4. Click Directory Security -> Edit under Anonymous and Access Control.
  5. Select Integrated Windows authentication. 6. For testing purposes, you may select Basic authentication.
  6. Now go to the IP address and domain name restrictions and click Edit.
  7. Click Add under Granted Access and add the domain to the list.
  8. Close IIS and test Outlook Web Access.
