QUESTION POSED ON: 01 July 2005
Can we install an Exchange server in a child domain controller? All users must get mail accounts that are placed in the main domain controller.

>
EXPERT RESPONSE
Why not? There should be nothing preventing you from installing Exchange servers in any domain in the forest. You need to ensure to run forest prep and domain prep for the child domain -- but outside of that, you should be fine.
