QUESTION POSED ON: 09 May 2005
I saw SearchExchange.com's Step-by-Step Guide: How to set up a VPN. But I noticed it only shows how to do it on Windows 2003. I have three Windows 2000 servers (domain controller, Exchange 2000 and ISA 2000). I would like to set up a VPN for remote users using XP Professional (file access and remote administration), and would like a step-by-step guide for this. Can you help?

EXPERT RESPONSE
Thanks for the question. This is technically-speaking a Windows XP client question, not an Exchange Server question, but I'll answer it anyhow. You will find a step-by-step guide to configure a VPN tailored for Windows XP Professional clients documented in this Microsoft Knowledge Base Article, How to configure a connection to a virtual private network (VPN) in Windows XP.
