About this Download:
A new set of freeware tools called Language Stamper, by Rolf Masuch, solves an annoying folder-naming probem that plagues Microsoft Outlook and Exchange Server users in multilingual environments.
Language Stamper comes in three versions:
- Language Stamper Admin works on the server side and can be used to rename one or more mailboxes with new language labels. The program includes pre-built labels for English, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Russian, but a user can always provide his own custom folder names as well.
- Language Stamper Client, as the name implies, runs on the client side and can be used to rename a single mailbox that the user logs into with his own credentials.
- The command-line Language Stamper works the same as the client, but from the command line, so it can be scripted or used in a batch file. This version has the same language resources as Language Stamper Admin, but can also be used to create custom folder names.
NOTE: When this was posted all three tools were free, but now only the Language Stamper Client remains freeware.
