About this Download:
Exchange Server WinRoute displays in one interface, all the information that Exchange Server knows about connectors and servers. You can use WinRoute to determine the link state routing information as known to the routing master. The WinRoute tool connects to the link state port, TCP port 691, on Exchange Server 2000 or 2003 and extracts the link state information for an organization.
The information is a series of GUIDs that WinRoute matches to objects in Active Directory, connectors and bridgehead servers, and presents in human-readable format. This tool is a good first step in troubleshooting routing in an Exchange 2000 or Exchange 2003 mail-handling environment.
WinRoute saves you from having to dive in and out of the individual property pages of each routing connector. Other timesaving features include instant display of what's working and what's not. The same interface also displays which server is a member of which routing group.
