hub transport server (HT server)
Hub transport server is an Exchange
Server 2010 role that applies transport rules, journal rules and delivers mail to Exchange
users.
Introduced in Exchange Server 2007, the hub transport server role was discontinued in Exchange Server
2013, but its functionality has been rolled into the Exchange 2013 mailbox server role.
