ExBPA (Exchange Best Practices Analyzer)

Contributor(s): Matt Gervais

The Exchange Best Practices Analyzer (ExBPA) is a tool that helps administrators to gauge the health of their Exchange Server environment.

When run, the Exchange Best Practices Analyzer collects data from Exchange servers and related parts of the Exchange environment and then analyzes the results. Next, the tool reports which aspects of the environment are not in line with Microsoft recommended best practices.

The tool then offers suggestions for changes to the Exchange Server topology. These changes may be applied  not only to adhere to best practices, but to also to improve performance and scalability.
