Q

Using multiple Exchange servers and replicating mailbox stores

What is involved with using multiple Exchange servers? Can it be done so that both Exchange servers have the exact same information at all times? When I say information, I mean can both Exchange servers receive the mail. Basically can there be an Exchange server as a hot spare? How would someone go about accomplishing this?
You'll need to purchase third-party software to do this. Exchange itself has no mechanism for replicating mailbox stores. You might also have a look at http://www.marathontechnologies.com or clustering Exchange. You can find details on clustering Exchange at http://www.microsoft.com/exchange and http://www.nwnetworks.com/cluster.html.
