Q

Migrating to Exchange 2007 with correct permissions

Learn best practices for migrating from Exchange 2003 to 2007 with correct permissions.

I'm currently migrating from Exchange Server 2003 to 2007. Will I be able to migrate mailboxes with multiple users while keeping the correct permissions intact?
Assuming you're asking whether users with permissions to access a mailbox as a "secondary mailbox" will retain these rights following the migration, the short answer is yes.

However, you will need to test your migration tools and methodology against this scenario in a lab prior to performing the migration in production. There are many migration solutions on the market and each has its own nuances.
