My company uses the ActiveRoles Server (ARS) tool to manage Exchange Server 2003 and recently we came across an issue during our migration to Exchange Server 2007. We were moving a user's mailbox from one domain account to another and the ARS tool instructed us that we should be using the Exchange Management Console for Exchange 2007 instead. Is this an acceptable way to migrate users' mailboxes across domains?

In order to move your user's mailbox across domains effectively, you will need to update the Exchange Management Console on the server where the ARS tool lives.
