Migrating Exchange 2000 accounts from Windows 2000 to SBS 2003

I am trying to migrate users and their Exchange 2000 e-mail accounts from a Windows 2000 server onto a Small Business Server 2003. The other day, we introduced Small Business Server 2003 to the company's existing network, and tried to run the Server Configuration Wizard in 2003 in order to add the existing Exchange 2000 server to Active Directory -- but it didn't work.

How can I add the existing Exchange 2000 server into the Active Directory of the new Small Business Server 2003, or make it a part of the existing domain? Can I migrate users and their respective e-mail accounts and profiles over to Small Business Server 2003 after making the Exchange 2000 server part of the Small Business Server 2003 Active Directory?

Exchange 2000 and Windows 2003 don't get along so well. Please review Microsoft Knowledge Base article 810591 on this topic. You can run Exchange 2003 under Windows 2000, but you cannot run Exchange 2000 under Windows 2003.
