Is there an updated procedure for moving Exchange 2003 to a new server? I have come across procedures for moving Exchange 2000 to a new server, but am wondering if things have changed.

If you are just going server to server, the process you have for Exchange 2000 should be sufficient. I was unable to locate a new document from Microsoft specifically written for the Exchange 2003 move. Everything is the same -- it's the move mailbox process (see Microsoft's Knowledge Base article "Moving mailboxes in Exchange 2003").

You should also review the Microsoft Knowledge Base article regarding the removal of the first server from an administrative group,"How to remove the first Exchange Server 2003 computer from the administrative group."
