views. When I view his calendar in Microsoft Office 2010, some items on his calendar view don't appear on mine. This only occurs with some calendar invites, but not all of them. How can we resolve this problem?
Sometimes a single calendar isn't identical when viewed across multiple devices. While reasonably rare, this scenario isn't limited to Outlook for Mac versus Outlook for PC, and it can occur when PC users view each other's calendars too. This scenario cuts out the client and allows you to see the mailbox directly in the Web browser itself, avoiding any issues with synchronization.
You will usually find the link to OWA by clicking on File in Outlook 2010, then next to Account Settings click the link Access this Account on the Web. Login to OWA using your normal username and password, then choose Calendar. You may need to add your boss' calendar in OWA, which can be accomplished by right-clicking My Calendars and choosing Add Calendar.
If the item is missing from OWA, then the issue is likely to lie with the Outlook 2011 client on your boss' Mac. You may be required to do a full sync to ensure any missing items are uploaded to the server side.
If the items are appearing in OWA, then look to Outlook 2010 on your PC. This is most often where the problem lies, and the way to solve this problem tends to be fairly simple.

Navigate to your boss' calendar in your copy of Outlook and choose Update Folder under the Send/Receive section of the ribbon. If this fixes the issue, choose Send/Receive Groups > Define Send Receive Groups and select Schedule an Automatic Send/Receive.
