How to send e-mails to internal distribution lists

I'm using Exchange 2000 and Outlook 2000. How do I send an e-mail to an internal distribution list? The catch is that I want everyone on that list of 100 names to receive the e-email except for one or two people.
You either need to temporarily remove them from the DL, create a new DL, or manually add the recipients to whom you want to send the message. The whole point of a DL is to enable you to send messages to a bunch of people and not selectively exclude some of them.
