How to migrate a Lotus Notes mailbox to Microsoft Outlook

We need to migrate a Lotus Notes mailbox to Microsoft Outlook. Can this be easily done? We have a new VP joining our company from a parent company that is running Lotus/Domino for email. We currently run Exchange 2000 Server with Microsoft Outlook. The VP wants to migrate his entire mailbox when he comes on board. Is there a tool to export his Lotus Notes mailbox into his new Microsoft Outlook mailbox?

Once you have your email in Outlook you can export it to a personal store (.PST) file. Then, configure Microsoft Outlook to communicate with the Exchange server. While you have the Exchange mailbox open in Outlook, you can open the .PST file and drag-and-drop the items into the mailbox. Alternatively, you can open the Exchange mailbox in Outlook and then use the Import feature to import the .PST file.
