How to find your Exchange Server store size limit

I have applied the registry hack to increase the mailbox store size in Exchange Server 2003 Service Pack 2. But when I check the log (Exchange Event ID 1216), it tells me the computer may not have the correct .DLL files to display this information. Do you know what I have done wrong? Also, how can I check to see what my Exchange Server store limit is?

Your Exchange Server store size limit is noted in Event ID 1217 in the Application Event Log. On Exchange Server 2003 Standard Edition -- post-Exchange Server 2003 SP2 and without any registry changes to increase it -- the store should start with a limit of 18 GB. On Exchange Server 2003 Enterprise Edition, the event states that the store starts with unlimited storage.

If you get a message that the computer does not have the necessary .DLL files to render the event, you should try reinstalling Exchange 2003 SP2. If this fails, you could contact Microsoft Product Support Services (PSS) for a resolution.
