Q

Does Network Monitor work if network adapters don't support promiscuous mode?

I was wondering if Network Monitor works even if the network adapters do not support promiscuous mode?
Yes it will; however, you will only be able to capture traffic going in and out of the system from which Network Monitor is running. If you want to capture everything on the wire, you need the SMS version of Network Monitor and a promiscuous mode network card.
