Can a deleted transaction log be restored in Exchange Server 2003?

What happens if a transaction log file is deleted by mistake in Exchange Server 2003? Is there a way to restore the deleted transaction log file?

No, a deleted Exchange transaction log file cannot be restored. Exchange functions in the same manner as any transactional database. The transaction log files are core to the successful functioning of the database, and current versions of Microsoft Exchange do not have a mechanism to bifurcate (copy) the transaction log files in flight.
