Backing up public folders on multiple Exchange servers

I have Exchange servers in three different remote locations. I have an Exchange brick-level backup being taken for the public folders in all the three locations and it's especially slow in two locations. I've configured our public folders to be replicated in two other servers in remote locations. My question is, do I need to do a backup of the public folders in all three locations?

Assuming that you have a replica of all of the public folders in one location, you should be fine backing that location up. Of course, the usual caveats for backups apply. Specifically, make sure you test your backups and have checks and balances in place to ensure that the data you're backing up doesn't have any problems. There's nothing quite as frustrating as having quality backups of data only to find out later that there are various issues with it.
